It is with great sadness and deep regret that we must announce the sudden death of a dear friend of our club, Sean Flood who passed away on Friday 25th November. Sean’s affable demeanour and friendly face were always a welcome sight on the pier and his warm-hearted disposition was enjoyed by many.
His and indeed the entire Flood family’s contribution to Wicklow Swimming Club is significant and we offer our sincere condolences to his wife Christine, children Rebecca, Emma & Jonathan, father Johnny and sisters and brothers Joan, Maureen, Brendan and Damien.
