Ninety four seniors swimmers took to the beach for the first race of the season in lovely conditions and weather to compete for the Mark Byrne Cup. Peter McGloin took the lead early and held on to take first place, Ronan Conway was second and Remi Baltrusaitis in third place. Emma O’Brien had the fastest overall time.
