Dear Member (s),
I am writing to inform you that the Annual General Meeting of Wicklow Swimming Club will take place in De La Salle College hall , Wicklow on Tuesday 23rd October, 2012 at 8.00pm.
Nominations for the following positions must be received on or before Friday 19th October, 2012 at or before 12 noon (Name of proposer and seconder to be provided)
Nominations:
- Chairman
- Vice Chairman
- Handicapper
- Secretary
- Treasurer
- Committee Members to include:
- Safety Advistor who should be over 21 years of age, hold a minimum qualification of a current Rescue 3 Water Safety (or its equivalent) and be a member of the Club for 2 years or more.
- A representative of the boatpeople
- 4 Other Committee Members
Those nominated must be willing to have their names put forward. Members and Officers of the present Committee are automatically deemed to go forward for re-election without nomination unless they indicate otherwise. According to the Consititution of the Club only Category A (Senior Swimmers aged 16 & over) & Category B (Officers, Officials, etc) are entitiled to vote.
Amendments to Constitution & Rule Book
Amendments to Constitution or Rule Book must be received before Friday 19th October at or before 12 noon (Name of proposer and seconder to be provided). All amendments to the constitution are subject to ratification by Swim Ireland. Nominations/motions should be forwarded to:
