Two hundred and thirteen swimmers competed in the first races of the season on Sunday morning 3rd June. It was a warm sunny morning with the water temp at 12 degrees.
The Junior sprints were up first with 55 swimmers competing

Under 12 Girls: 1st Cara McKenna 2nd Caitlin Keogh 3rd Abigail Copeland.
Thirty juniors were back in the water, swimming in the Junior Challenge; 1st Cara McKenna, 2nd Chris Hulin. 3rd Anya McKenna.
Eighteen Intermediates swam for the Cox cup;

The Youths had a 550 metres long course.

Racing for Sunday 10th June starts at 10.15am – Junior Sprints, 10.30am – Junior Challenge, 11 am – Intermediates Jack Malone Cup, 11.30am Youths Binnon Cup, and 12 noon – the seniors race for the O’Flaherty family Cup.
