A busy week last week for the club with 2 races within a few days. In the Across the Harbour Cup Denise and Patrice swam very strongly in to third and and second places respectively , to follow home Dessie who took the honours with a great time. well done to all.

We had 2 great finishes in one race in the Black Castle on Friday Night. In the mens race Rocky came around the pier first but Ben was gaining all the time, while Gavin, in the red hat powered through the field. In the end just 2 seconds separated the three of them with Rocky holding on for the win , Ben in second , and Gavin in 3rd with  an amazing time of just 00:09:06.

In the Ladies race well done to Roisín on a strong finish to end up in 3rd place. Joanna in the Red hat was closing strongly but Nora hung on by a split second to capture the spoils. Well done to all.

Auro Trophy this Wednesday night 7th followed by the big one, the Club Vartry, on Saturday next 10th August.
