Dun Laoghaire Harbour Race This Sunday 21 August
The Dun Laooghaire Harbour Race takes place this Sunday. There is a family / fun swim at 2.00pm followed by the men’s race at 3.00pm and the Ladies race at 3.45pm.
Swimmers will swim from the RNLI Lifeboat SLIP out to the Lighthouse at the end of the East Pier and back in to the Lifeboat slip, a distance of approximately 1,800 metres. There are excellent opportunities for spectators as much of the swim is along the wall of the East pier. Please come along and support.
National 5 & 10 Kilometre Races Lough Dan County Wicklow Saturday 27 August
The National 5 and 10 Kilometre races will take place in Lough Dan County Wicklow on Saturday 27 August.
There is a cut off time of 2 hours and 15 minutes for the 5 kilometre race and 4 hours for the 10 Kilometre race.
Entry Fee – €30, Closing Date for entries : Wednesday 24th August 2011

5 km Registration 9.15 am Start 10.00 am

91st Dublin City Liffey Swim Saturday 3 September
The 91st Dublin City Liffey Swim will take place on Saturday 3rd September. Swimmers will swim from Rory O’Moore Bridge (Watlin Street) beside Guinness’ Brewery to the Sean O’Casey Bridge beside the Dublin Docklands Authority a distance of 2,400 metres. Please come along and support. Further details of the event will be issues closer to the swim.
