Hi All,

There is a Level 1 Coaching Swimming Course due to be run at the Aer Lingus SC (ALSAA complex) in Dublin from Friday 14 th June. Please, find here attached a timetable for the course.

Please, be advised that a Child Protection course – either a Swim Ireland one or one delivered by the Local Sport Partnerships and recognised by the Irish Sport Council – must be completed prior to any results being issued to the candidates.

Candidates holding a SI Level 1 or Level 2 Teaching Aquatics qualification might be eligible to attend Unit 2 only .

At the moment, there are still places available on this course and I have been asked to forward it to you in case there are Teachers in your club who are interested in acquiring a Coaching qualification, which would be more appropriate and relevant if they are mainly engaged in coaching competitive swimmers.

The cost of the full course per person is €400.00 for SI Members and €450.00 for non-Members.
